Ntivombango strives for an empowerment policy which complies with applicable laws regulating the workplace environment. The company recruits on the basis which uplifts previously disadvantaged groups, it is also non-sexist, non-racial and it strives for cultural diversity. The company intends to participate in the development and capacity building of the youth and unskilled labour-force through in-services training and on the job training respectively. The company recognizes and embraces social responsibility within the community to address the imbalance of the past through its recruitment policy which is geared at creating opportunities to attract, develop and retain previously disadvantaged people. Ntivombango has an equity policy which is aligned with the Employment Equity Act no.55 of 1998.

Environmental Policy:

An Environmental Policy is a set of fundamental principles and goals which helps a company to put its environmental commitment into practice. Ntivombango abides by all the Environmental policies in its practice and strives for zero defects, zero pollution, and zero waste.

Ntivombango considers that companies that actively reduce environmental risks and impacts are more sustainable, profitable, valuable, and competitive. This is good for the economy of South Africa and the environment (the win-win situation). Those that ignore environmental risks and impacts are less sustainable in the long-term. Exploitation of resources for short-term gain is detrimental both to the economy and the environment (thelose-lose situation). Ntivombango will acknowledge good environmental performers and seek to change the behaviour of poor performers.

Occupational Health and Safety Policy:

The company is guided by the Occupational Health and Safety act 85 of 1993 hence it shall train employees on safety and compensate all employees including part time, temporary and contract employees for injuries sustained in the workplace due to a result of performing their duties.
